“The appearance of this fairly dark, slightly opaque honey has 'raw' all over it. The taste is a spoonful of honey experiences that you look for and seldom find. Really complex flavour notes in good balance. The overall finish is of a floral sweetness that dances in the mouth” [Great Taste Awards Judge - 2020]
“Light golden honey with a gentle floral aroma and excellent viscosity. Smooth luscious honey that releases an explosion of flavour in the mouth with sweet floral notes, and distinct lavender - a wonderfully complex and delicious honey.” {Great Taste Awards Judge - 2020]
Our apiary at Furzedown Farm is set in a 25 acre wildlife conservation woodland, nestled between the shores of Southampton Water and The New Forest National Park. Many of the trees present in the woodland have been planted purposefully to benefit bees.
The single origin honey we produce is 100% natural, raw and unprocessed. The honey you get in your jar, is exactly how it came out of the hive, all made from wild flowers. Each jar states exactly which apiary the honey comes from, and by harvesting each location separately it allows us to celebrate the unique quality that each site offers, and it’s amazing just how much variation there is.
